Transformers 4 doesn’t hit theaters until June 2014, but Michael Bay has
wasted no time getting automotive enthusiasts interested in the movie.
Today we can share two images of what Bay calls “the final jewel in the
Transformers 4 crown,” Bumblebee as a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro concept.
The Chevrolet Camaro entered the 2014 model year with a slimmer grille, but the Bumblebee
Camaro concept takes things a step further. Revised headlights ditch
the stock Camaro SS’ circular LED accents for angled LEDs, and the front
grille looks even smaller than the stock car. Below, a larger lower
front fascia changes up the Camaro’s appearance, while there’s a new
vent just behind the side doors.
Sleek door handles replace the pull-out units on the 2014 Camaro,
and not surprisingly, the side mirrors have shrunk on the Bumblebee
Camaro concept. The rear-quarter windows have been blacked-out, and
there’s a new spoiler out back. With just about a year left until
Transformers 4 arrives, we’re certain this isn’t the last we’ve seen of
the movie’s car fleet. For now, compare the Bumblebee 2014 Camaro
concept with the 2014 Camaro SS below.
