Porsche 918 Spyder has been spotted in final production form for the first time.
The car, which was revealed in a tweet from Porsche, had its dynamic debut
at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier in the summer — but even then
was still described as being in late pre-production form. The £628,000
hypercar, which is set to rival the likes of McLaren's P1 and the LaFerrari, will go on sale next month.
it will be offered in standard specification, with a Weissach
performance package, priced at £745,000, being offered later on. The
performance package is expected to include extra use of ceramic,
titanium and magnesium parts.
Performance-wise, the 918 Spyder
offers a 0-62mph time of less than three seconds and a top speed of over
200mph. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine combined with electric
