Mercedes has given its design team free rein to create the Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo – a concept that can be driven in the new Gran Turismo 6 computer game, but which has also brought it to life with a real 1:1 scale model.
The car has retro design cues, such as the gaping grille that’s
similar to the 300SL racer of the fifties. Mercedes says the long
bonnet, compact cabin and a teardrop-shaped rear are all typical sports
car styling cues for the company.
