The Problem: The drive shaft and the transmission transfer assembly are attached by bolts that may not have been properly tightened during production. The bolts and drive shaft could detach, causing noise, possible damage to the drivetrain, and an increased risk of an accident.
The Fix: American Honda Motor Co. will inspect and tightened the bolts free of charge.

The recall affects 19,197 2014 Acura MDX crossovers built between May
6, 2013 and October 14, 2013 and equipped with the optional Super
Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system.
