Thanks to a leak one day before the 2015 Ford Mustang's multi-city global reveal, we now have our first look at the new pony car that's set to battle the Chevrolet Camaro for muscle-car sales domination. Scans of an automotive print magazine's story were first posted to the Mustang6G.com forum, and are featured below.
The 2015 Ford Mustang
will offer a range of engines, from a 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 to a V-6
and, of course, a few V-8s. The Mustang will finally add an independent
rear suspension for the 2015 model year, as well.
The leaked images show that the 2015 Ford Mustang's three-bar LED
daytime running lights integrated into the headlight housing. The
overall front design appears to be aggressive, but a clear evolution
from the outgoing 2014 model. The car's updated profile features a rear
quarter window that's no longer separated from the front door window by a
body-colored strip. Inside, based on the leaked 2015 Ford Mustang
interior image, we see a couple performance-oriented gauges situated
between the central air vents. An engine start button is placed low on
the center stack, along with a few toggle switches.
