The Problem: Due to insufficient clearance, the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) connector located in each of the front seats of certain 2013-2014 Range Rover vehicles may become disconnected. If the SRS connector becomes disconnected, the seat-mounted side airbag in the affected seat may not function, increasing risk of injury in a side impact.
The Fix: Beginning January 17,
the automaker will start notifying owners to bring the affected vehicles
to dealers to modify the area around the connector. Customers may
contact Land Rover at 1-800-637-6837(Option 9) regarding recall number
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 3912 Range Rover vehicles from the 2013 and 2014 model years are being recalled.
