While the last Kia Sorento prototype
we spotted had black and white camouflage, the latest example features
all black camo, though it seems to be losing some of its disguise
including large sections around the doors. Despite the reduction in
camo, the automaker has kept the revised front grille under wraps.
Currently, the Sorento
is offered with a 191-hp 2.4-liter I-4 or a 290-hp 3.3-liter V-6. Both
engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission in front- or
all-wheel-drive variants. While no details have been revealed about the
updated model’s powertrains, the Sorento could get the Santa Fe’s 264-hp
2.0-liter turbocharged I-4.
