The first Bentley SUV prototype has been spotted testing. While the prototype is covered in tight-fitting matte black camouflage, the front end, profile, and taillights are clearly visible. Unlike the poorly-received Bentley EX9 F concept, with its single large headlight and foglight, the prototype features a Continental GT-like front end with a large inboard headlight and smaller outboard light.
The front end also features an upright grille
with single vertical bar and chrome mesh inserts. That theme carries
over to the wide lower air intake and rounded side air intakes below the
headlights. From the side, the Bentley SUV
prototype has a similar profile to the Porsche Cayenne SUV with its
sloping rear window and roof spoiler. Not surprising considering the new
Bentley SUV will be based on the same architecture that will underpin the next Porsche Cayenne/Volkswagen
Touareg/Audi Q7 SUVs. Out back, the Bentley SUV prototype features
large rounded LED taillights and oval exhaust tips.
