New Car: 2016 Ferrari 488 GTB

Ferrari just released the official photos and information about new 458 Italia which gets a new name, 488 GTB. The changes including exterior styling and a new engine. Up front, Ferrari designer redesigned headlights that features the lines of LEDs just like its predecessor. Now, the hood comes with sculpted design, new front fascia, and front spoiler.

From the side, we can see large side air intakes which makes the coupe looked more aggressive. At the rear, the company redesigned the circular LED tailights and added more fine lines. The coupe car also gets rear diffuser and new twin exhausts. Ferrari engineer upgraded car aerodynamic which boasts 50% more downforce than the previous model and reduced drag. There’s a sophisticated aerodynamic underbody that incorporates vortex generators.

Under the hood, Ferrari offers a new engine V8 3.9 liter produces 661 hp at 8,000 rpm. and 760 Nm of torque. The powertrain is mated to 7-speed dual clutch with Variable Torque Management which deploys engine’s massive torque smoothly and powerfully right across the rev range. The 488 GTB can reach 100 km/h from zero in 3 seconds and it can run from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds. Its top speed is 330 km/h. Ferrari claims that the car can lap Fiorano track in 1 minutes and 23 seconds!

2016 Ferrari 488 GTB will make its debut at 2015 Geneva Motor Show next March.

New Car: 2015 Porsche Cayman GT4

Say ‘halo’ to the fastest Porsche Cayman ever, the Cayman GT4. It is developed for those who wants Cayman with more horsepower. The GT4 comes with 911 Carrera S’ engine flat six-cylinder 3.8 liter. But Porsche’s engineers detuned the engine, so it only produce 380 hp. The machine is connected to 6-speed manual transmission. It can run from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and its maximum speed is 295 km/h. Furthermore, the automaker claims that it has Nurburgring lap time of 7 minutes and 40 seconds. It means that the coupe has the same figure with Porsche 997 GT3 and Mercedes SLS AMG.

According to Porsche, the Cayman GT4 is 30mm lower body position and generously sized brake system consist nearly entirely of components from 911 GT3, including chassis components. GT4’s exterior is almost the same with regular Cayman. The company just adds a fixed large rear wing, a redesigned hood with an air inlet, a bumper with new design which features bigger cooling vents, a lip spoiler, rear diffuser, and two exhausts.

When you buy the car, you will be offered the option lists, including PCCB ceramic brake system, full shell seats made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), a custom Sport Chrono Package with the unique Track Precision app and a Club Sport Package.

2015 Porsche Cayman GT4 will make its debut at 2015 Geneva Motor Show next March and will be released in the same Month in Germany.
