Geneva Show 2015 Highlights: Aston Martin Vantage GT3
Aston Martin shows off Vantage GT3 that is inspired by Vantage GT3 Race Car. Take it easy, it’s still a track-focused car just like its sibling. Some technical stuffs get exciting treatment. Under the hood, there are tweaked V12 6.0 liter engine produces 592 hp which is mated to 7-speed automated manual transmission, magnesium inlet manifolds with revised geometry, a lightweight magnesium torque tube and a full titanium exhaust system with center outlet.
Outside, the rear-wheel-drive car gets flared carbon fiber front wings, carbon fiber bonnet, a lithium-ion race-derived battery, carbon fiber door casing plus optional carbon fiber roof and polycarbonate rear windows. It causes its weight is just 1,565 kg. Furthermore, the GT3 also gets Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and 19-inch magnesium alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Aston Marin Vantage GT3 is limited to 100 units and the production will be begun at the third quarter of the year.
